Guided Passages’ Youth Connect Program is a gathering place for Teens to connect with themselves and others in an authentic and meaningful way while also learning some tools and strategies for navigating the teenage years. During our in-person meet-ups, we utilize the Council format centered around a specific topic or theme. Through the use of sharing, active listening, games, activities, and hanging out, participants are able to build a sense of community and belonging and find their own voice.  Some sample topics include, but are not limited to, mindfulness, anxiety, solution focused thinking, our thoughts and why they matter, identity, self-confidence, quality friendships, and goal setting. Sessions are a good mix of lighthearted fun paired with moments of deeper group work and solo time. There is a minimum enrollment of 6 participants and a maximum of 12 for each program.
